Consider Making a Contribution to FSPR on Giving Tuesday
2015 has been quite productive for the FSPR and its Board of Governors, as we continue to develop partnerships with organizations that share a similar mission and passion towards the parks and recreation movement. We are proud of all that the Foundation for Sustainable Parks and Recreation has accomplished with your help, including the approval of a $50,000 grant to Save the Children, our MOU with the National Assoication of Park Foundations (NAPF), and the awarding of over $10,000 in scholarships for parks and recreation professionals through the Christopher K. Partnership Scholarship Program.
Supporting the FSPR through a charitable donation perpetuates your own values and those of the FSPR- which as a 501 (c) (3) organization, supports research and programs to transform parks and recreation’s impact on youth, family, and community health and livability.
At this time, we ask that you consider the park and recreation movement and more specifically, the FSPR. Whether you are supporting the Christopher K. Jarvi Partnership Scholarship Program, or making it possible for us to support opportunities such as the efforts of Save the Children and the NAPF, your gift is important as we seek to secure the highest level of participation possible.
We appreciate and would like to call upon the generosity of those of you individuals who have already made a financial contribution and invite those of you who have not yet contributed to do so.
Thank you for considering the Foundation for Sustainable Parks and Recreation when thinking about your annual giving.
Invest Today, so that we may serve as a resource to help continue to preserve, promote, and protect our parks and recreation into and through Tomorrow.
